Step By Step Process On: How To Change Battery Tile?

Here I will explain you step by step process of how to change battery tile? let’s see how to change battery tile.

REQUIRED TOOLS:

  1. A small kitchen knife
  2. A hammer
  3. The replacement battery (CR2025)
  4. Superglue

Step-01: what’s up guys I’m going to show you today how you can replay the battery in a tile tracker with minimal tools and minimal effort and keep this little tracker running without having to send it back to the company or a replacement. So let’s get started. I’m going to show you how you can do this all right in order to pop this little guy open we’re going to use a knife a kitchen a small kitchen knife hammer and the replacement battery is called cr2025 you can pick this up on Amazon or at any pharmacy or grocery store for a couple dollars it’s not expensive at all.

Step-02: So what we’re going to do is place the tile on its side. I’m going to put the knife on top tap it gently and you can already feel it coming apart and tap it gently on the other side okay and see it’s coming apart. I’m going to stop it gently here on this side as well okay and this is what it looks like the inside.

Step-03: So without much damage we were able to crack it open there’s a little bit of glue there you can just scrape off the floor with your fingernails and so we have it open now the motherboard is right here and this is the place where the button is and the battery is concealed underneath.

Step-04: So I’m going to try to lift this off which it pops right off and the battery is seems to be seems to be glued to the motherboard. So what we’re gonna do is we’re just coming to pry this open and you can see the glue is still holding the battery. So we’re just gonna take this off easily here’s the replacement battery.

Step-05: I’m going to put this back on facing down with with kind of the writing on the top part. So so the plus sign goes on top and the minus sign goes underneath. So there’s still enough glue to be able to place this battery back on top and it will stay there temporarily the glue doesn’t necessarily need to hold it because there is a little round casing for the battery that that the tile itself has.

Step-06: So and you kind of pop the motherboard back in place like so everything is back in place and I’m going to put this back on top. So before I glue it with superglue I just want to test it out to see if it works.
