Step By Step Process On: How To Change Rk61 Battery?
Here I will explain you step by step process of how to change rk61 battery? let’s see how to change rk61 battery.
1.Keycap Puller 2. Standard Phillips Screwdriver 3. Backplate 4. PCB 5. Battery 6. Soldering Pen 7. Solder 8. Pump 9. Switch Puller
First, you need to use a keycap puller to remove all the keycaps from the keyboard. Make sure to remove all the alphanumeric keycaps first, followed by the mods on the last row. Leave the spacebar for last.
Next, you need to remove the backplate by pulling it up. To do this, flip the keyboard over and gently pull on a switch. Once the backplate is removed, make sure to disconnect the PCB from the battery.
Now comes the fun part – soldering all the switches! Set the soldering pen to 300 degrees Celsius and apply the tip to the solder. Keep the tip on the solder for a few seconds until it is melted, then apply the pump and release.
Remember to clean the pump every once in a while as you are desoldering. This is because solder will get stuck in it, affecting the way it works.
If you find that you can’t remove all the solder, you can try putting more solder on and then reheating it. This will help to transfer the heat to the whole thing and make it easier to desolder.
Finally, use a switch puller to remove all the switches from the keyboard. Once all the switches are removed, the keyboard is ready to be reassembled!
