Step-05: Make sure the cable is out of the way as it will interfere with the battery installation. You should run along the bottom of the holder and familiarize yourself where the programming button is located for the next steps.
Step-06: Now grab your remote control. You need to press the programming button on the right side for no more than two seconds. The green led will now flash slowly. The remote is now in transmitting search mode and this will last for up to two minutes.
Step-07: When you have a fast flashing green led, this means the remote has now made a successful link with the blind. Next, press the test button shown previously inside the battery compartment for approximately three seconds. The blind will receive the signal from the remote control pad. Do not press for more than five seconds. The blind will now run back and forth, ready for final remote activation.
Step-08: Now press any button on the remote for a maximum of two seconds. This will confirm activation. When complete, the green led will be solid for four seconds. If the procedure has failed, the led will now be red for four seconds. If this happens, try pressing the blind test button again.
Step-09: Looking good! So now it’s time to give it a test run. Grab the screen and pop it into the frame. Push the clips outwards to secure it back into the window frame.
Step-10: One more final test and the blind is now working great. You’ve now fixed your Velux remote blind controller.
